Robo Robb Radio began in 2017 while an undergraduate at Oakland University. I broadcast for seven years and interviewed over 300 personalities during my time at WXOU. When I moved to upstate New York to start my PhD program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, I joined WRPI and continued my program. Although not as active interviewing local musicians like I had been at WXOU, I was honored to be able to interview larger names like Albert Mazibuko from Ladysmith Black Mambaza and Zakir Hussain. When I graduated, I had to discontinue my program. Recently, I have begun dusting off my old recording equipment with hopes of reviving my program.
